To run BlackBerry® Desktop Software v4.1, you’ll need the following:

  • An Internet/email-enabled computer with an Intel® 486 or higher processor
  • One available USB or serial port
  • The Microsoft ® Windows ® Operating System in one of these versions:
    • With a USB port: Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP
    • With a serial port: Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 or later
  • Optional Bluetooth® connection on computer with Windows XP
