• They wanted a solution that would be highly secure and help with the company’s commitment to providing personal attention to clients

Solution

• Worked with business solution provider MoboTel to deploy a BlackBerry® solution that addressed several business needs
• Deployed BlackBerry smartphones with the BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution and applications, including a spellchecker, wireless printing solution, and remote access to network files and folders
• Also deployed a solution providing remote and secure access to IT systems and access to Bloomberg and MarketTerminal data to a small group of users

Results

• Traders feel comfortable leaving their desks, knowing that they will receive price or volume alerts on their BlackBerry smartphones
• IT department receives technical support assistance by phone and email, helping them better serve internal customers
• Gained ability to administer IT systems remotely and securely
