This American university is ranked as one of the top business schools and one of the top 10 wireless campuses in the US. They wanted to offer students valuable information with tools beyond traditional email and web communications to enhance the vibrant educational experience.

Solution

They offered 150 BlackBerry® 7100 series devices to new enrollees and faculty. Devices were equipped with streaming technology (RSS) that pushed content about news, jobs, administration and campus life.

Results

Improved campus communications about school events, augmenting classroom teaching by sharing current events and promises to offer students a competitive edge in the marketplace. Plan to increase deployment to 600-800 devices.
