BlackBerry Radar Device

The BlackBerry Radar device has been designed for simple installation, maintenance free operation, and unparalleled network connectivity and battery performance.

The Radar device is a fully self-contained clamshell that installs on the door or chassis of a trailer or container in under 10 minutes. It contains all the sensors necessary for detecting load status, door open and close events, location, and other environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure.

The Radar device has been designed by BlackBerry engineers who are deeply experienced in the design of high quality mobile devices. This has allowed us to build a device that can provide years of reliable service without maintenance or complicated battery charging and replacement.

The BlackBerry Radar Device utilizes the QNX real-time operating system which is trusted by our customers to provide mission critical stability in industries like automotive, medical, and nuclear power generation.

Space

 

The Radar device is also connected to the BlackBerry Software Update Management platform that enables its software to be updated over the air. This allows us to innovate rapidly, release new features and support devices remotely at lower cost.

Installation Ease

The Radar device can be installed and activated in under 10 minutes by virtually anyone. There is no requirement to connect to external power sources or additional sensors, everything is self-contained in the device.
