To use Yahoo!® Messenger on your BlackBerry® smartphones, you'll need:
- A data service plan from your wireless service provider
- A Yahoo! ID and password. Sign up for a Yahoo! ID
- BlackBerry® Device Software v4.2 or later
If your device is connected to a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, your IT Department must have an IT policy set to allow Yahoo! Messenger functionality.
