UbiSafe: UbiSafe is a mobile location based service for personal security, contacts locating and emergency needs. UbiSafe can be used for:

1. Verify and track family members’ positions on map
2. Send/Receive emergency messages
3. Set up personalised “safe” zones (geo-fencing)
4. Create personalised notification rules (ie. when child leaves location)
5. Create a "virtual leash" for preventing children to move out of sight
6. Track positions and movement speed and be "informed" of speed-limits breaks

It works with three main components:

1. A web-based fleet-management-like interface to track and trace contacts, set up notification alerts and real-time "follow" movements of assets.
2. A java based client compatible with the BlackBerry handset devices featuring the same functionalities of the web-based interface, plus special "asset chasing" capabilities.
3. A very small personal locator named UbiSAafe box used for locating and tracking persons, children, pets, cars, bags etc, and being automatically alerted if someone is reaching or leaving a "safe" area.
